　　高级职员布鲁诺在一家造纸厂辛勤工作，受到雇主和股东一致称赞。15年后的一天，因工厂外迁，他被解雇。40来岁的布鲁诺自认有技术，年纪也不大，不怕找不到称心工作。然而，3年过去，他仍处于劳务市场门外，顿时醒悟面临着你死我活的无情战场，只有奋力自救才能保持自己和家庭的生活水平，逃脱被淘汰命运。布鲁诺决定杀死自己的竞争者，拼死打赢这场战争……

　　

　　amily man Bruno has been laid off from his job with a paper company after 15 years faithful service, a victim of profit-motivated ‘efficiency' cuts. Watching a promo video for another company, he's convinced he could do a much better job than the boss, if only there was a vacancy. Still unemployed after two years, as money gets tighter and his patriarchal pride takes a battering, Bruno decides to act. In his determination to regain his rightful place in the paper manufacturing industry, he realises that should an appropriate job become available he'd have a far better chance if he could eliminate the other leading candidates. 　　Directed by Costa Gavras (Amen), Jose Garcia displays flawless comic timing in his nuanced performance as Bruno, a man driven to desperate acts by heartless social circumstances.

　　

　　

　　般奴是一個愛家的男人，他在一家造紙公司忠心地服務了十五年，卻因為公司轉營而成為一切講求經濟效益下的犧牲者。有日，當他看到另一家公司的宣傳短片後，自信地覺得只要有機會，自己比那公司的負責人更勝任。失業兩年仍找不到工作，經濟開始拮据，感到一家之主的尊嚴受損，般奴決定是時候採取行動。他決心要在造紙業取回自己應有的地位。他認為，若有適合的職位空缺出現時，只要他能除去其他有實力的應徵者，實實在在的除去，那麼他的機會會更大。
