Winner of the Audience Award at the Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival (OUTFEST), this heartwarming drama is a love letter to the dream of a teenager. Miles is a high school student from Middle America, his dream is to leave the small town and move to Chicago to study film. After realizing his father has squandered his college fund on his mistress, Miles needs to find a way to change his future. The volleyball scholarship program that exists between his high school and a university in Chicago seems to be the best solution. However, in his high school, there is only the girls’ team, and Miles is not going to let that get into his goal of achieving his dream.
Extremely lovable with lots of "aww that's so cute" moments...But to me the film was a bit over exaggerated at times...and the premise was dicey and skeptical as well. BUT it's just hard to not like it!!!
