Set in England during the 1300s, the series chronicles the lives of ordinary citizens as the King leads the nation into the Hundred Years' War with France, all while Europe is bracing for the Black Death. Caris (Charlotte Riley), a visionary woman, and her lover Merthin (Tom Weston-Jones) build a community that stands up to the Crown and the church.

和前部相比太差了，主线不明确，杂糅了太多东西又都讲不清。好啦我知道中世纪的愚昧黑暗，可是有必要每集都把镜头对准那些小人唠叨吗？
没事情做的话可以随便看。但是没给我什么特别的感觉
